Heaven is a cottage in Gloucestershire

Although it looks like it was taken with a JamCam, this cottage at Lopez Farm Cottages in Washinton’s San Juan Islands caught my attention for its idyllic look and setting. Their site could use some updating, but it looks like the farm itself is stuck in the perfect time period.

The first landscape architect to make my South Florida backyard look like this earns a permanent spot in my will.

I feel like I’m way late to the party since I just discovered this blog - but it’s wonderful and only sweetened by the fact that it’s currently being published from the French countryside. Clearly a family after my own french-lovin’ heart.
